Biking in the Valley of Villards !

The Glandon Pass, The iron cross Pass… Have you already heard their name?

Famous since many years with the “Tour de France”, these pass are made for bike lovers !

Glandon Pass, situed at 1924m of altitude, between Belledonne Massive and Arves, and Savoie (Maurienne side) and Isère (Oisans side). With 20km of distance and 7.3% of drop (sometimes 13%!). It is a wild landscape that offerd you this winding road. At the arrived, a lot of surprise will waiting you: Mont Blanc View (with blue sky), lakes, Grand’ Maison barrage, paraglider, flocks of cows, sheeps, groundhogs….

When you will arrived at the Glandon Pass, Follow the Grand Maison Lake to join Isère or go back in Maurienne by the Iron cross pass, with, a incredible view of the Aiguilles D’arves ?

Need a break ? Passing by the Village of St Colomban des Villards, 10 km after the begin of ascent: 2 bars –restaurants, free Wifi, public toilets….
